WCAworld is not new to charitable endeavors and has always felt strongly that it is our corporate responsibility to provide support to those who needed the most. As a worldwide organization with agents in 190+ countries, we are proud that WCAworld and its member-partners from all over the world have always welcome the opportunity to help when needed specially at time when crises strike.
Help Needed as devastating earthquake hits Turkey and Syria
As a WCAworld member, we need your support to provide aid to the victims impacted by the tragic and heartbreaking effects of the devastating earthquakes and aftershocks in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria this week.
In 2004 WCAworld sent a delegation led by WCAworld Chairman and Founder David Yokeum to the most affected areas impacted by this natural phenomenon.
WCAworld Cares for Children was another program initiated in conjunction with Mission Child, where we raised USD $54,000 to build a school in Nicaragua. The program also provides emotional support and guides them to reach their full potential by living a more fulfilling life through education and overall, well-being.
The war in Ukraine has impacted thousands of people, many having to flee from the only place they called home. The WCAworld Foundation has already begun reaching out to local contacts on the ground to ensure that donated funds are going to the correct parties.
The monsoon season has produced significant rainfall affecting all four of the country’s provinces and approximately 15% of its population. WCAworld Foundation has donated USD $40,000 to aid the thousands of people affected in the most remote areas of Pakistan.
During the WCA Regional conference in Marrakesh, WCAworld Chief Executive Officer, Dan March, and General Manager – WCAworld Specialty Networks, Adam McKenna, visited the Dar Tifl Orphanage in Marrakesh. They were shown around the facility by Aziz Addi, Director of the institution and Dr Abdallah Squalli, President of the Sidi Bel Abbes Association.
