Aid for Earthquake Disaster Victims in Turkey and Syria :
As a WCAworld member, we need your support to provide aid to the victims impacted by the tragic and heartbreaking effects of the devastating earthquakes and aftershocks in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria this week.
The earthquake in Turkey and Syria has surpassed 11,000 deaths and left some areas uninhabitable for years. The earthquake is one of the strongest at 7.8 magnitudes to hit the region in more than 100 years. Thousands of buildings collapsed, and air agencies are particularly worried about northwestern Syria, where more than 4 million people were already relying on humanitarian assistance. Freezing weather conditions are further endangering survivors and complicating rescue efforts, as more than 100 aftershocks have struck the region.
The WCAworld Foundation wants to make sure that we do everything within our power to aid those impacted and who needed the most. But we can’t do it without our members’ generosity and support.
